FlavorCloud is a fast-growing SaaS company that’s revolutionizing international shipping for the exploding D2C market. They’re making it super easy for you to have that cute sweater you saw on Instagram by this weekend, even though it’s coming from an artisan half way around the globe.

Like so many category pioneers, there’s a tremendous need for market education. But with a startup-sized team, they needed to extend bandwidth – fast. Wheels Up came on board as an extension of their content team, building quarterly content calendars with new assets for all their digital channels. And since content is only as good as the number of readers it gets, our strategy included turnkey amplification through organic, paid, and earned media channels.

Keeping up at Startup Speed

Like most young startups, FlavorCloud’s day-to-day is evolving quickly. From demand generation, to shining a spotlight on their CEO, to supporting investor conversations, the lean in-house team was fielding incoming content requests from many directions. Wheels Up’s flexible content package ensures a set number of assets each quarter, but the topics and formats of each piece are set during quarterly planning sessions. This lets the team serve the organization in a cross functional, nimble way; demand generation guides and op-ed pieces one month to pitch decks and press releases the next.

Building Credibility

In order to keep marketing streamlined and efficient, PR was rolled into the Wheels Up content engagement. Through our concierge public relations, we’re always listening for opportunities to promote FlavorCloud’s internal subject matter experts as well as pitching new content for earned media mentions – without the bloated costs of a public relations firm on retainer. With guest appearances on notable market podcast and guest columns on Forbes Business Council, FlavorCloud is raising their leaders’ profiles plus getting more traction out of their content by increasing readership across multiple mediums.
