How We've Helped
Digital Infrastructure in the age of COVID
I’ve never had an event run this smoothly. So many people reached out and told me that even when we don’t have COVID-19 restrictions in place, this is how we need to run our events. Wheels Up really listened to my challenges and constraints and built a custom solution that not only allows me to continue growing despite COVID-19, but also just made my job easier.
Suzanne Auletto, Owner
The Client: Courses by Design is a boutique event company specializing in equestrian competitions.
The Challenge: Before COVID-19 (coronavirus), the company’s process and events had been exclusively in-person. In a COVID-19-world, the company needed a digital infrastructure that made it easy to promote, register, collect payment, and deliver day-of updates.
The Solution: The backbone of this solution was a new website that is easy for the business staff to edit - even in real time on event day. A custom online ordering and payment module allowed the company to go paperless - for the first time ever. A new multi-channel communication plan kept customers informed, including real-time text updates, and the solution insures the company maintains its commitment to trainers and exhibitors.
Paid Social Strategy that moves at the pace of the 24-hr news cycle
Political news cycles run at a frenzied pace. Wheels Up Collective helped us figure out how to adjust our messaging to keep up, while taking advantage of paid social’s extensive options, test creative units, and then scale.
Doug McLeod, Chief Strategist
The Client: A Better Tomorrow political action committee, supporting the NJ 7th District.
The Challenge: Reaching a very specific audience with highly targeted messaging about the upcoming election in a way that can scale to target other districts as well.
The Solution: Highly iterative Facebook ad testing and campaign strategy allowed A Better Tomorrow to hone their messaging and reach the right audience with very little waste. A custom creative design solution was developed so any team member can quickly spin up new ads that reflect the rapidly changing political landscape.
Pivoting to adjust to COVID's new "work from home" normal
When COVID-19 hit, I had to quickly pivot my entire business.
Wheels Up Collective helped my marketing catch up with the change. They really listened and came back with practical options that fit not only our budget, but our business goals and resources.
Melissa Marshall, CEO
The Client: Present Your Science, the premier presentation coaching service for STEM professionals.
The Challenge: Before COVID-19 (coronavirus), the business service delivery had been exclusively in-person and on-site. With a nation-wide shift to work from home, Present Your Science had to quickly pivot to a virtual delivery model.
The Solution: A website and messaging refresh ensured that new and existing customers knew the company could still provide this essential training in a virtual format that was engaging and effective. LinkedIn test campaign let Present Your Science try paid social for the first time in a way that delivered quick and inexpensive insights that can easily scale.
